Dryland WFS is dedicated to the research and development of high yield, low input farms. The leading edge of our research involves the constant exploration of rare and unusual crops with commercial potential.
We are also currently developing several distinct building techniques using the mycelia of fungi, and the roots of plants. Either method is inseminated within a designed frame, to become the structural and insulatory aspects of a building. Specific species of vine and tree are currently under trial for their ability to: resist decay, grow quickly and properly petrify, under diverse conditions.
