The pros and cons of dry land settlement (infrastructure). Very calm winds and sunny summers. With proper moisture retention their is massive potential for a catalysed nutrient cycle.
black water treatment within dry climates has many distinct advantages. High capacity waste treatment may be designed using a traditional composting toilet, which deposits waste into a small canal of water to be spread along the bottom of a specially designed swale. This will foster the waste solution to be diluted 100 fold and rapidly dried. Being dried at such a rate allows for physical immobilization and chemical stability. The dilution will proportionately catalyze the breakdown of waste material. Specified plant species will be planted within and without the swale to establish fast nutrient pathways. Desiduous trees for example will routinely mulch and cover the swale bottom.
